Melvin - the dog, the myth, the legend! We've got him and YOU can adopt him! Melvin is a slightly shy but fun-filled dog who's just itching for a good time in a new home of his own. He's got looks like none other, he enjoys going for walks and is easy to handle while on leash, and he's even done well with the other dogs here at the shelter, though he firmly insists on no kitties! If you've got a pup at home already, bring 'em along to meet this magical mutt. Melvin enjoys treats and is so gentle when taking them from your hand. He'll place his head in your lap to let you know that he'd be happy for a kind word, a tasty treat, or, best yet, gentle pets and scritches.
Melvin is a hidden gem here at the shelter, and once you've had the chance to get to know him, you'll think so too. He's eager to meet you today, so come on in!
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
