Sly has been waiting at the shelter for over two years-more than 700 days-for someone to see past his initial nerves and discover the goofy, loyal, toy-loving dog we know and love.
He's a stuffy-toy connoisseur with a big personality... once you earn his trust. At first, he can be nervous and very barky with new people. He needs slow introductions, patience, and the gift of time. Sometimes he warms up in 10 minutes, sometimes in a few days-but when he does? You'll have an adventure buddy for life.
Sly loves camping trips, cuddling on the couch, and the kind of zoomies that make your heart skip a beat. He's happiest with structure, a stash of squeaky toys to shred, and humans who understand that sensitive pups shine brightest when they're allowed to be themselves.
His dream home has a yard to explore, a cozy couch to curl up on, and people who will give him the space he needs to feel safe.
