He has plenty of kitten energy, but when playtime is over, he's more than happy to soak up all the love and affection you'll give him. Smudge is considered a special needs adoption due to a previous case of chronic diarrhea that took quite some time to resolve. He underwent extensive evaluation and was repeatedly tested for viruses, parasites, and other potential causes, all of which came back negative. The good news is that his condition has been successfully managed through diet. To keep Smudge feeling his best, he will need to remain on a 100% wet food diet and should not be fed dry food. Since making this change, he has been doing wonderfully. His future family should be committed to maintaining this diet to help keep his digestive system happy and healthy. Smudge doesn't let his dietary needs slow him down one bit. Smudge does still need some help learning how to use the box and will need a patient home. He's a happy, affectionate kitten with so much love to give, and he's ready to find a family who will embrace his unique needs and love him for the amazing little cat he is.
