Toast is officially done with her mom duties, and now that all of her puppies have found homes, it's finally her turn! Toast is a sweet, playful little lady who can be a bit shy when she first meets you. Give her a little time to warm up, though, and you'll see what a total love bug she really is. Once she knows you're her person, she is all about being your friend. She's also a big fan of other dogs and loves playing with her dog friends here at the shelter. In fact, we've found that having a confident dog around helps Toast feel more comfortable exploring the world. She's got a bit of a stubborn streak and is still working on building her confidence outside of what she knows, so a friendly, confident canine companion would be a great match for her and could help show her the ropes. Toast is a solid, compact little girl who weighs around 40 pounds, and she has the absolute cutest bunny hops when she gets the zoomies. Watching her bounce around when she's having fun is pretty hard not to love. She would be a wonderful fit for someone looking for a playful friend for their dog, or simply someone who wants a dog-friendly dog with a sweet personality and lots of love to give.
