Carrie is a sweet former mama who spent her early years having puppies for profit. Thanks to her foster family, she is just starting to discover what it means to be loved. Though still shy, she's beginning to trust her foster mom and now even allows herself to be picked up and cuddled. In quiet moments, Carrie will show little glimpses of the brave, loving dog she's becoming.
Carrie has a very gentle soul and will thrive in a quiet environment. She finds great comfort in the company of other dogs, so she'll need a calm, confident canine companion in her forever home. Carrie also does well with cats. A securely fenced yard is ideal, giving her a safe space to continue building confidence at her own pace. We have no doubt that in the right environment Carrie will thrive and become the happy, trusting companion she is meant to be!
