Earl is a charming senior boy who stole hearts after being rescued from a high-intake shelter after being abandoned. This lovable gentleman thrives on companionship and adores being wherever his human is. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, especially when he gets to shower his humans with kisses. Earl is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a medium-energy, medium-sized buddy, but could also be perfectly content as the center of his family's attention. He would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. Earl is a little bit goofy and a little bit lazy old man. He's got a playful spirit, but he also knows how to relax, happily snuggled with his person or enjoying a cozy nap on the couch. He's housebroken, nondestructive, and loves to go for walks. He loves toys, soft beds, and stealing your spot on the bed. If you're looking for a snuggly friend who gives the best hugs and is always ready for an adventure (or a long nap), Earl is your guy!
