Hello, my name is: Peppa
Approx. DOB: 9/30/2021
Weight: 48.7 lbs
Sex/Breed: Neutered male border collie mix
Rescued from: ACCT Philly
Peppa's world was turned upside down when his owner's health declined and they could no longer care for him. He found himself at ACCT Philly, a high-intake shelter, confused about how his life had suddenly changed. But even in his kennel, surrounded by so much uncertainty, Peppa was nothing but sweet. We couldn't turn our backs on this sweet boy, and we knew he deserved a chance to find a home again.
Now that we're getting to know Peppa, one thing is clear: he's an absolute sweetheart! Peppa is affectionate, trusting, and happiest when he's by your side. He would love a home where someone is around often to keep him company, shower him with pets, and enjoy all the love he has to give. He's eager to please, seems to be house-trained, and is a very smart boy who already knows some commands!
Peppa is dog-friendly and does pretty well with dog-savvy cats. And if you're looking for a fun activity to share, grab a tennis ball - he loves them! Of course, his favorite pastime might just be soaking up attention from his favorite people, all while flashing the biggest smile.
Peppa has already experienced the heartbreak of losing the home he knew through no fault of his own. Now, he's ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him, include him in their lives, and never leave him wondering what happened to his world again. Peppa is such a good boy, and he deserves nothing less than a second chance at forever. Could you be the one to give him the happy ending he's been waiting for?
All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
