Gus is a fluffy, one-of-a-kind guy who looks like a bear cub crossed with a fox-and he's just as adorable as you'd imagine! After coming to All 4 Paws from a breeding kennel, Gus is discovering all the wonderful things that come with being a beloved pet.
He's playful, friendly, and loves making new friends, both human and canine. He enjoys romping and exploring the yard, playing chase, and hanging out near his doggy pals. He seeks out pets, although he's still learning exactly what this whole "cuddling" thing is about. He's also discovering the joys of being a dog, including delicious bones, the magic of mealtime, and that the couch is the comfiest place for a nap.
Gus is making great progress with house training and is doing wonderfully with his crate. He's food-motivated, which should make training a fun way to build his confidence and bond with his family. A fenced-in yard is important for Gus, as he's not yet comfortable walking on a leash.
Gus will need an experienced, patient family who is willing to go at his pace and gently show him how wonderful life as a pet can be. In return, this sweet, fluffy boy will bring plenty of fun, new friendships, and love to his forever home.
