Hello, my name is: Victor
Approx. DOB: 09/19/2020
Weight: 77.6 lbs
Sex/breed: Neutered male hound mix
Rescued from: Overcrowded shelter
After spending more than two years calling a small shelter home, Victor is finally getting to experience what it feels like to be a dog in a home-and this sweet boy is taking his time to soak it all in.
Victor is an incredibly sweet, laid-back guy who is still decompressing and learning that he is safe. Right now, he's a little reserved and enjoys his alone time, often choosing to relax or take a cozy nap in his crate. Every time his foster family comes home, he greets them with a happy tail wag.
He loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and seems to be house trained. Walks and the great outdoors are still a little intimidating for Victor, and he's learning to feel comfortable on a leash at his own pace.
There's no doubt that Victor has a lot of catching up to do after spending too long in a shelter. But he's safe now, and he's beginning to discover the joys of a home and soft places to rest.
We can't wait to watch this gentle boy blossom! Victor deserves a forever family willing to be patient, give him time, and show him just how wonderful life can be... could that be yours??
All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
