This beautiful 1-year-old Australian Kelpie mix arrived at HSSM as a stray after being picked up in Gulfport on August 14. She wasn't microchipped, and sadly, no one ever came looking for her. But we have a feeling she was someone's beloved pet at one point because this girl already knows her manners!
She'll sit perfectly for a tasty treat, walks nicely on a leash, and loves getting outside to explore. She's also heartworm negative and those perky ears will make sure she never misses the sound of you coming her way!
Unfortunately, black dogs are often overlooked in shelters, and we don't want that to happen to this beautiful girl. She has so much to offer and deserves a family who will see past the color of her coat and discover the wonderful dog underneath.
