Sunnie is finally getting her chance to experience what it truly means to be a beloved family pet. Beofre her rescue, Sunnie was one face of many at a breeding kennel. Thankfully, she is now safe in a loving foster home where she is learning, day by day, that the outside world can be a good place.
Sunnie is an absolute sweetheart, though she is still finding her way and learning to trust. Sunnie will bravely run up to lick her foster mom's hand and then immediately scurry back to the safety of her crate. She is going to need a family with the patience to let her blossom at her own pace. The good news is that she's picked up on house- and crate-training already, giving her a big head start on home life.
To help this young girl truly thrive, her perfect match would be a quieter household with older, respectful children and a family where someone is around frequently to keep her company and maintain her routines. Sunnie will also need another confident, friendly dog in the home. Having a canine sibling to follow and mirror will do wonders for her self-esteem and teach her how to just be a happy, carefree pup.
