Scout is still here waiting. And honestly... we're starting to take it personally.
Scout came to us in June as a FOUR-MONTH-OLD shepherd puppy. A handsome shepherd puppy, at that. We figured he'd be gone in a flash. Breed dog? Puppy? Sweet? Surely someone would scoop him up immediately.
Except four months later... here we are.
That puppy is now 8 months old. Still very much a baby, but Scout would like you to know he has already mastered one very important adult skill and that is he will give you a perfect sit EVERY time you ask. He is smart, he is locked in when there's a treat, and he is absolutely ready to show off whatever else you want to teach him. Also we're not sure what's going on with that adorable one ear sticking up thing but he's not growing out of that one folks - check out his puppy picture.
Scout is just a happy-go-lucky, sit for a treat, grin when you give him a pet, let's play our hearts out, then nap on the couch together kind of guy. And who doesn't want a pal like that? He is wonderful with other dogs, sweet with people of all ages, heartworm negative, and listens.
Apparently we can't find anything wrong with this guy!
What we CAN tell you is that Scout has spent far too much of his puppyhood in a shelter. He should be learning new tricks in a living room, running around a backyard, getting called a good boy approximately 47 times a day, and falling asleep next to his person.
He has spent enough of his little life waiting. Come adopt this good boy today!
