She raised them. She protected them. She loved them. Now... it's finally Gracie's turn.
Meet Mama Gracie.
When Gracie came to us, she wasn't just a stray... she was a mom. She arrived with her puppies and a body that showed just how much she had sacrificed for them. She was incredibly thin - nothing but bones - because she was giving every bit of herself to keep her babies going.
And that's what makes Gracie so special. Even when she needed help herself, she was still being the best mama she could be.
Her puppies have all found their forever homes... and now this beautiful girl is ready for hers.
Look at Gracie now! We couldn't be anymore happier! She has gained weight, gained confidence, and is finally getting the chance to just be a dog.
Gracie is sweet, loving, and full of personality. She bonds quickly with her people and will happily be your shadow. She's also a strong, enthusiastic girl who sometimes forgets she isn't a tiny lap dog - her excitement can come out as a little "bulldozer mode" because she just wants to be close, play, and soak up attention.
Like many bully breeds, Gracie is loyal and protective of her people. She's been working on meeting new people and learning that new friends can be a good thing. Her perfect family will be one that gives her patience, structure, and lots of love while she continues to grow.
Gracie may do best as the only dog in the home, but meet-and-greets can be discussed. We are still unsure how she would do with cats.
Her puppies had their happy ending... now this amazing mama is waiting for hers.
