Meet Poppy, a special girl searching for a patient and loving family to call her own.
From the moment Poppy arrived, we knew she would need extra time, care, and understanding. It took nearly a month before she felt safe enough to let us pet her, but every small step forward has been incredibly rewarding.
We don't know much about Poppy's past, but it's clear she hasn't always known kindness. For weeks, she stayed perched high on a cat tree, only coming down at night after the house was quiet and the caregivers had gone to bed. Still, every day we sat with her, spoke softly to her, and worked to earn her trust, and every day, she made a little more progress.
Now, Poppy is beginning to enjoy affection and seek out our company. Watching her learn that people can be gentle and loving has been truly special.
Poppy seems comfortable around other cats and continues to blossom with human interaction. She will need a calm, patient home willing to let her continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you'll get to experience the incredible joy of helping a shy cat finally feel safe and loved.

Poppy's adoption fee is $150, which includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, 2 FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FeLV combo test (Poppy is negative!) and up to date on flea/tick preventative.
