Katniss is a resilient, loving puppy with a brave spirit and a heart full of hope. She's still growing and will mature into a very large dog, but she's already shown incredible strength for someone so young.
This special girl came into rescue with a fracture that required surgery. While she's healing beautifully, the nature of her injury means she'll need an adopter committed to ongoing physical therapy and long-term monitoring of her right hind leg-potentially for life. With the right care, Katniss can continue to thrive and enjoy a happy, full future.
Raised in a foster home, she's learned what it means to be loved and supported. Katniss adores her people, enjoys learning, and is ready to grow into the amazing companion she's destined to be.
