Meet Maggie, a beautiful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who is still waiting for the person who will show her what forever really means.
Maggie hasn't always had the stability and love she deserved, and because of that, trust takes time. But when Maggie feels comfortable, you get to see the sweet, playful girl underneath.
She LOVES getting outside, walking the trails, playing, and enjoying all the good things life has to offer. And if you really want to make her day... bring on the CHEESE!
Maggie is looking for a home that understands her and will give her the patience she needs. Her best fit would be a home without children or cats. She is still learning about dog friends and may be happiest being your one-and-only. Maggie prefers not to share her toys and special things with other pups.
Maggie came to Lakeland as a stray in 2025, and on June 30th she will have been waiting a whole YEAR. ??
