This unsuspecting dual have come such a long way. Both slightly timid, now can take on the world with each other.
Marge came to the shelter as a stray in poor condition. She was bone thin and not sure of all the strangers. We could see that Marge needed a little help with making friends with people, so Mika was introduced to her. Mika is shy with strangers as well. They immediately hit it off and became fast friends. It was clear that Marge had never learned how to really be a dog. When she first met Mika, Mika would do circles around her and Marge just look at her with confusion. Now these two fly in the play yard or at the front desk??
We know both of these girls are a work in progress, but we feel they are worth the time and effort. We would love to see them go together since they've done so well together, but we also know that that is a big ask and chances are slim. If they don't go together, we really would like them to go with another dog to help them branch out.
