Hey there, my name is Ruth Ann! I'm a young Shepherd mix looking for a new home. I did not come to the shelter under the best conditions but they are working to help me heal and learn to trust. I am very shy but with some patience and TLC I warm up and I am very sweet. I would like a home that has experience working with under-socialized dogs. I ask any children in the home be over 13 years old due to my nervousness and fear of new people. I could get along with another dog with a proper introduction, and I have lived with others before. However, my dog pals should be larger or similar in size. I am open to living with a cat with a slow intro as well. Once I come out of my shell I am very loving and would be a fantastic companion.
