Rodney was running on his own for quite some time before being caught in a live trap, so he is understandably a little unsure of new things at this time.
Once he is exposed to new sights and smells and learns it's okay, he will continue about what he was doing. This young man has so much potential, all he is missing is a family to show him just that.
Small humans may be a bit too fast for Rodney, but with proper supervision and training- we feel he would get along fine with them.
