*There's a lot of truth to the song "There ain't nothin like a hound dog." I'm that amazing, forgiving, silly, slightly doting being ready to make sure YOU are in perpetual smile mode too!
I'm in perpetual smile mode. Nothing really gets me down and I've seamlessly settled into the shelter environment. Already, I feel as though I'm very well thought of and folks are reaching for me because they like spending time with me. True to my breed, I'm a carefree guy who goes with the flow. I've never met a stranger and can't resist a waft of a new and exciting scent! I've heard some snickering about my weight...ie I'm on the heavier side, but I'm working on it and YOU could help me work on it as well. Currently, I'm 76lbs! No doubt, for now it means there is much more for YOU to love on. During my photo time, I casually strolled around and inspected the space but more likely I was inclined to lean into my new human friend and even totally endeared her to me when I placed my huge head...complete with dribbling drool coming out of the edges...in her lap and lovingly looked up into her face. You get the picture! I'm great on the leash and I've been nicely walking past other doggies with no issues. If you are into hounds and even if you are not, there's a lot of truth to the song "There ain't nothin like a hound dog."
