I just flew all the way from Albania and boy are my paws tired! When I was first found in Albania, one thing stood out about me: I had a massive growth hanging from my neck! I barely looked dog-shaped! Thankfully, that mass has been removed and is not expected to come back. I walk with my head bowed a little because I'm so used to the weight, but life can only go uphill from here!

"Mari is a very unique and lovely dog. She is curious, trusting, and a lot of fun to walk. She walks a little strangely, but doesn't pull or get into anything she shouldn't. She sniffs around and enjoys walking with the other dog she came in with, Albee. She gets very excited about treats and it's very easy to harness her. She's an old soul who needs someone who appreciates the quirkier things in life!"
I am currently available for short-term foster because I need a few surgeries to address the state of my teeth and legs, but don't worry--you can adopt me right after!
I came all this way with my friend Albee, who I would love to go home with! While at the shelter, we have been living, playing, and walking together every day, so we are quite attached! This has been a big change for us both and having this friendship has helped us both feel more at home. We are not formally bonded, but we sure would love to be fostered and even adopted together.
