I just flew all the way from Albania and boy are my paws tired! I had a pretty horrific time in my home country, so I'm so happy to be far, far away now! My time there has left scars on my body, but I still manage to be an incredibly sweet, friendly dog! In fact, the staff are pretty stunned that I'm so pleasant after all I've been through.
I have a common tick-borne disease called ehrlichiosis, so I am currently available as a short-term foster while the shelter treats it! Don't worry...you can adopt me right after it's been resolved, and it isn't something that humans can get from me, so no fears there!
I came all this way with my friend Mari, who I would love to go home with! While at the shelter, we have been living, playing, and walking together every day, so we are quite attached! This has been a big change for us both and having this friendship has helped us both feel more at home. We are not formally bonded, but we sure would love to be fostered and even adopted together.
