Hello there! I'm Brownie and I am likely a Shepherd mix breed dog. I'm around two years old so I'm past all that puppy energy! I'm a big guy weighing about ninety pounds, I'm a little on the fluffy side but I'm gonna say its all fur!
A little bit about me, I was an outside boy for a while. I didn't really enjoy it, so I decided to take myself for a few walks. I came to the shelter and discovered that the inside life is where I'd like to be from now on. I want to be pampered! I want to have a nice fluffy bed to sleep on and perhaps I could even have my own blanket! Since I'm not one hundred percent used to being inside, it takes me a minute to adjust to my new surroundings. I would love to go to a home that will let me adjust to my new digs at my own pace, which will be quick, I need to have some personal space for a few days. While I have lived with children previously, I think I would enjoy an adult home.
I'm not a party animal but I do love to play with toys so I hope my new home will have some of those for me! I hope you have a big yard; I'll need it for play time you know?!
I would do great in a home with daily walks, as I still enjoy being outside. I'm still learning to walk on a leash, my staff here say I'm doing great. Sometimes I get to go on pack walks with the other pups, how fun is that?! In my previous home, I wasn't around other dogs, but I'm finding out that they're ok! Pack walks have been a great experience for me! If you have any other dogs in your house, I'll need to meet them before you take me home. I just want to make sure we like each other first.
