Meet Kane, a big 81 pound dude, who came to the shelter after his family discovered their youngest human as allergic to him. Kane is a little shy around strangers, but opens up quickly with treats. He's working on his confidence with his human friends here at the shelter and so far, has been doing really well. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw". He'll give you an unsolicited paw when he wants a treat. Once he really knows you, expect to be giving lots belly rubs and getting lots of kisses! He has played pretty well with another dog in the shelter, so he might do well with other dogs. It's unknown how he'll be with cats and other small animals.
