Meet Lottie! She's a shy girl with a gentle temperament. Lottie is nervous with new people and she appreciates having some space to herself as she gets to know you. For the past few months Lottie has been in a foster home where her foster mom says she is doing so much better now that she is away from the chaos of the shelter life. She is much less timid when her canine pals are around and she LOVES roughhousing with them. Morning time is her favorite and she loves doing her zoomies in the backyard!! Having another active canine with a similar playstyle in the home is a MUST to help build Lottie's confidence. Lottie is not quite ready for long walks in the park, so she will need a fenced in yard to play with her new canine sibling and to go potty outside. Lottie is crate trained and loves having that safe space to retreat to when she needs a break. She has free reign in her foster home and is the perfect house guest! While it may take a few meetings for her to come up and lick your hand and wag her tail, once she does, she is SO worth it!! Lottie did come from a hoarding situation where she lived with a large number of dogs and was not the center of her humans attention, so being in the spotlight is a bit uncomfortable for her. Given a chance, Lottie will warm up to her new family, she just needs someone willing to see her beauty inside that rough exterior.
