Delany was found by a gardener under a car at his work complex; he took her in for a month until his landlord told him she had to leave. She then went to someone who helps homeless cats but the resident cat wouldn't accept Delany; her next move was to Rescue House. Though she's done well at landing safely on her feet, Delany is ready to stop bouncing from place to place and find her permanent happy home!

Delany is a smart and spirited kitten who loves to cuddle with people. She doesn't play favorites: everyone is fair game and you are never going to be bored with Delany around. This talkative girl is very vocal, and she doesn't hold back on her many opinions. Since she is so human-focused, she's loudest when she feels you're about to leave her alone... Delany always wants her people! She loves to be held and her favorite place to sleep at night is next to you and sometimes under the covers. She is a HIGHLY energetic girl who needs lots of enrichment and room to zoom! Since she was a solo kitten in her most formative time, she didn't learn from other kittens how to tailor her play/wrestle-bites and kicks to appropriate levels. As a result, Delany can be a bit nippy with hands and needs continued consistent guidance and redirection away from hands and toward appropriate kicker toys and wands. She's a smart cookie who shows lots of potential for training and maybe even tricks like "fetch" (just throw a furry mouse toy for her and watch!), but her kitten enthusiasm can get the better of her right now. She is already improving, and with time and patience she'll be just perfect.

Delany loves having kitty friends; she must have a confident kitten playmate or youthful-minded resident cat. She knows how to stand up for her rights, but she also needs a cat friend strong enough not to be pushed around by her overzealous pounce-wrestles. We don't know her thoughts on dogs. While Delany is happy to make friends with all people, she would do best with adults or cat-savvy older tweens+ who can understand why her play-nips can be rough and provide the consistent guidance she needs to learn her best long-term manners.

Snuggles galore and plenty of playtime await the lucky adopters of Delany. Will she be a wonderful loving addition to your family?
