Hello! I'm Lupina! You can tell just by looking at my picture that I'm a sweet, friendly girl, can't you?
I'm a 4 year old pittie mix with a whole lot of love to give. I get so excited when people step in my room to visit me that I wiggle uncontrollably! I like to give kisses and hop up on the bench with the human coming to visit me. I love booty scratches too! The front desk staff call me the 'welcome committee' because if someone enters the building, I'm always right by the window to give them my doe eyes!
I am bonded with the dog Damu and will only be considered for a home where we can go together. I will not be considered for a home with other dogs as I'm really is the only one Damu can tolerate! Small dogs especially are a no-go for him. I don't really mind either way, but he's my best friend, so I have to support him! One cool thing about the two of us is that we're already potty trained. We've never even had an accident overnight in our kennel! We are both also quite good on leash...me a little more than Damu, but don't tell him I said that!
My short term care will involve having me on prescription weight loss food. My previous family clearly gave me lots of love, but as I get older, these extra pounds will work against my joint health, so they need to go!
