Meet Waffles! She is a 1.5-year-old Terrier mix we transferred in from Gary Animal Control. When she first got here, she was lively and filled with energy. More recently though, she's been showing her calmer, more affectionate side. She's the best of both worlds! She's a super playful girl who's always down for a good game of fetch. She is very treat-motivated and listens well if you have some treats in hand, so additional training should come easy! We recommend that Waffles be in a home with children who are at least 8+ due to her sometimes taking treats a little rough. Waffles has met other dogs and does good with them, so she may want a fursibling in her new home as long as it's a good match. She's been keeping her kennel area pretty tidy as long as she's let out consistently, so she may be potty trained as well. Lastly, Waffles tested positive for heartworms but we are covering the cost of treatment. Waffles can't wait to meet her forever family! Does she sound like a good match for you?
