Alana is an extremely sweet, playful, and goofy girl, around 2 years old and 55 pounds.
She will need a home with a fenced yard as she is currently working hard on her leash manners and LOOOOOOVES to zoomie and play ball!
Her favorite things are meeting and getting all the snuggles and pets from humans (she has been around adults, small children are an unknown), playing ball, zoomies, and racing around the yard showing her ball to all the neighbor dogs. After all that activity, she loves to just lounge in the sun or snuggle on the couch.
She is currently in a foster home where she is learning new tricks (she's a pro at sit and down so far). She LOVES to go on walks and is currently working hard on her leash manners.
Alana has done well playing with several same size or larger dogs as long as there aren't any toys or food around for her to guard (she has not played with smaller dogs beyond running the fence with her neighbor friends). She is making good progress with both crate training and potty training.
Alana would do best in a home that will keep her active physically as well as mentally with continued training and enrichment so she can continue to learn, build confidence, and be the very best family member!
