PHIL is an awesome dog who needs an active home where he not only run and play, but also receive structure with boundaries enforced. A home with a fenced in yard would be perfect for this boy! Phil is completely housebroken and does great in a crate when needed, he runs right into it each night when it's time for bed. New noises like a vacuum or hair dryer are scary, but he's learning to gain some confidence. Phil knows "sit" and "lay down."
Phil is a Velcro dog, and is truly just looking for love, and trying to be as close as humanly possible to his people- he's a great cuddle bug! He's been spending most of his time enjoying walks around the neighborhood, lounging on the couch, staring out the window, in front of the space heater; he's a great co-worker! Phil loves going on adventures, and does great in the car, too! He's a great adventure dog!
Phil is curious about birds and squirrels but has been doing great with on-leash recalling. He loves his bone and Kong, and gets the zoomies each evening around dinner time.
Phil's ideal home would be someone who can put time into establishing a great relationship with him so he can trust them as his handler, someone who has an active lifestyle (he'd be a great running partner too), a safe place for him to run around and play, and a window that he can look out of each and every day!
