TYSON (143279) is a 7 year old 75 lb. neutered male Pit Bull. This boy is one of those pups that has the unfortunate luck of coming back to the shelter multiple times, resulting in let-down after let-down for this sweetie. We first met him in 2020 when he came in as a stray.
Tyson would do best as the only pet at this time and a quieter household would be ideal for him. Tyson is an affectionate, friendly guy who enjoys car rides, playing with toys, and snacking on meat-flavored dog treats!
Tyson is just the sweetest boy. He likes to make himself right at home. Tyson is just a lover, he follows you around the house, lays on your lap, by your feet, he just likes to be by his people, wherever you go he is right there. Do not be fooled by his age, this guy has just as much energy and play in him as a much younger dog. He is housebroken, he knows sit and takes treats very daintily, he does sit by the table during meals but is not a beggar! He also stays by the door and does not go out until told.
Tyson loves squeaky toys, will play with them by himself but also loves to chase if thrown. He had an antler to chew on which he enjoyed. Tyson would just curl up in his bed or get up occasionally to look out the window while his humans were working. Tyson is not a big barker, he will bark in excitement when we you home but stops once he sees you.
Tyson is a strong boy so a harness works well on walks. He will make a great dog for someone, Tyson really is just the sweetest most loving big guy. If anyone wants a full time snuggler and goofball, this is your guy!
