PENGUIN (173783) is a 2 year old 74 lb. neutered male Pit Bull. Penguin is a sweet boy. He loves to play with his foster's senior dog and most of the time Penguin has more energy then him and most of the time Penguin is respectful of that. Penguin will lay down and hold the rope for the large resident dog who will pull Penguin around for a fun game.
Penguin is working on his leash walking skills in foster and his adopter can continue that. He has at least one happy zoomie a day! Sometimes penguin things it's fun to chew on pillows or socks and the play keep-away. Penguin loves to learn tricks for treats and is currently learning "shake".
Penguin could enjoy another resident dog at home, but probably no cats since he does want to chase them. He has free-roamed at home successfully. Penguin gets excited to meet new people and would even sleep in bed with you if you wanted him to.
Penguin loves kids but due to his size and how excited he gets he would need some training to be around very young kids. He plays rough but is all play!
Penguin is eager to please and can sit and shake, too! He is a very good and puppy-like boy! He will take a few naps during the day, enjoy a good treat, and will accept all the kisses.
