I came to MaxFund late in February after my previous owner surrendered me. They were moving in with someone who is allergic to animals, so I was not able to tag along. As sad as this is, the good news is that now I get a second shot at finding my forever home!
I'm definitely the kind of dog who needs a little bit of effort to win my trust. If you're interested in me, please come see me multiple times so we can build rapport! You can understand why I need a little extra TLC...it's quite the change going from a home to a shelter, and I don't want to be left behind again. I promise to make it worth your while, though--I'm super smart and already know sit, spin, and how to gently take treats. I'd be a great dog to train because of my intelligence, and that would be a great way to build a bond with me!
My previous owner noted that I may have skin sensitivities, so I was on food designed to help with this. They also said that I do well with other dogs and that I am crate trained, but that I don't do well with kids and have never been around cats.
