Layla! Has there ever been a sweeter girl than Layla? We don't think so..
Personality: Did we say she is sweet? She is very affectionate, kissing hoomans might be her favorite thing (next to playing fetch).
Layla is a 3 yr old medium sized lovie, she is a beautiful pitty-mixalicious (pitty mixed with sugar & spice & everything nice).

Layla's story:
Layla and her two puppies were found locked in a kennel in an abandoned apartment in West Des Moines. Her two puppies still had their umbilical cords, indicating they were just 3-4 days old. They came into our care where everyone immediately fell in love with the sweet little family. Layla was initially scared and nervous, but once she knew she and her puppies were safe her personality came through and revealed a very loving, well-behaved girl.
Layla loves everyone she has met since she has been with us and especially adores children! She knows basic commands such as sit, stay and down. She even knows: "Back" which we say to her when we are about to throw her ball during a round of fetch. Layla does a wonderful job of keeping her kennel clean, but may need guidance once in a home.
While she really isn't that big, she is a strong girlie and can pull pretty hard on her leash, so a fence will be required at this time. She was a former Olympic athlete in a past life and is a high jumper that can clear up to 4ft when she puts her mind to it. We've also noticed she is skilled at climbing the chain link fence around her patio so would need company when outside in a yard.
Layla would love to do a meet n greet with all family members in your home, furry and hooman.. big and little to make sure it's a lovefest.
