Meet Cypress! This litter and their awesome mama Eden were part of a special transfer from the Animal Rescue Corps. Eden was part of a hoarding case in Kentucky and gave birth to her pups during one of her transports to safety. They have all spent some time in our Puppy Nursery getting lots of much needed TLC and are very much looking forward to finding their forever homes. Cypress is a cuddle bug who likes to relax, but he is also very much still in his teething/nipping stage, so he could benefit from a well structured environment to help him work on his behavior to help him become the best boy possible. These kiddos have spent some time in foster homes and have interacted with other dogs and some children, but due to his nipping he will require any potential children in the home be at least 6 or older. Some have been able to get the hang of potty training and adopters will need to continue working on this with them! Puppies require a lot of love and care, but it's also important to introduce them to puppy training as well as keeping up with socialization and enrichment (anything from putting treats in your Kong toys to a nice, long walk outside). Cypress would benefit from a canine companion to help him learn from, so he will be required to go home with another dog. Please remember to do slow introductions and keep in mind that it still takes time to acclimate to anything new, even for puppies. Overall, these sweet kids are sure to thrive with adopters ready to raise a young Pittie pup. Each day is sure to be an adventure with one of these kiddos!
