Riley is the epitome of sweetness! Her sensitive and gentle nature displays the Spaniel breed in her. She is always wagging her tail and keeping an eye on people so she doesn't miss out on an opportunity to get some pets and be loved. Riley is at the age where she has great training retention. She still has plenty of puppy energy and loves to play with my other foster, Disney(Walt)! They have become the best of friends! They love chasing each other around the yard, going for car rides, taking walks, and practicing some training tricks together. Riley has great recall, is awesome at keeping focus while training, and is overall a perfect dog! From when she first came home with me her confidence has grown immensely and she is primed and ready for her permanent home!
If Riley had a say, she would love to find an awesome home with Disney(Walt), however, if it's not in the cards, she would do best in a home with another dog(s) that would be a good playmate match for her. She has proven that she does quite well with cats, and can be very gentle and passive with them, but overall she loves to play with a dog friend but, with time, could adjust to being the only dog in the home. If you are looking for a super sweet, adaptable, loving companion then look no further, Riley is your gal!
As her foster, I have committed myself to ensuring that Riley and Disney(Walt) end up in the perfect home(s). I have invested a lot of time in continuous training, evaluating them in various situations, and ensuring they are happy and healthy!
