Hi! My name is Crackle! I am a 9-month-old Boxer mix! I was transferred to MaxFund from a high-kill shelter in Oklahoma with my two other brothers: Snap, and Pop! Pop has found his forever home, but Snap and I are still here at the shelter. I hope we can both get adopted soon!
I am a very sweet and energetic (not so) little boy! I love people and treats, and snuggles, and love, and just life! My friends here at MaxFund have been working on my leash manners, and overall obedience training so I can be on the right track to becoming your perfect pup! I am a little more on the timid end of the spectrum when it comes to loud noises and unfamiliar objects, so I hope you can help me build my confidence and recognize that cars and that kind of thing aren't too bad after all.
I have not been around children or cats, but I am a fan of other dogs and I am often involved in play groups with other dogs, including my brother Snap. I love to romp with other dogs, but I may be a little much for a senior or fearful dog who would object to the floppy escapades of a gangly puppy! I definitely would love to live with another dog, though, especially if they are more confident. They can help show me the ropes!
While at the shelter, I have made a lot of friends and have won over many a staff and volunteer with my affectionate nature and velvety fur. I am working on my recall, but I already know how to sit and how to seek out treats that are thrown or hidden for me to find. I am a sweet dog who would love a patient and encouraging family to love me for the rest of my days. Does that sound like you?
