Remi is just an older pup who doesn't know much about good doggie manners but he is excited and eager to learn. He is happy to see humans, happy to see dogs, just happy in general. He already weighs 28 pounds and plans to be a big boy. He is starting to learn about leash walking but knows nothing about house training. He is jumpy, playful and active. He loves to run and climb. He is interested in toys but has no clue what to do with them. He is submissive, quiet, and curious. We don't know how he'll behave around children but he loves everyone. He can be nippy so he'll need to live with kids at least 13 years old until he gets some obedience training under his belt. He used to live with his sister and was pretty rough during play so if you have a dog, you should bring it to meet him to be sure they are compatible. He has enjoyed rough housing with some of his shelter friends. He likes being on a lap and being petted. Please offer Remi the home and family he deserves. (tw 2/1/2024)
Foster update: Remi now weighs 36 pounds. He gained experience in interacting with other dogs and is easygoing, friendly, playful, and respectful. He even shares his food and treats with them. He has learned the come command. He is still very active and will now need to live with kids at least six years old (instead of 13). (tw 4/21/2024)
