We were so very happy to enjoy the day with Viking today!!! While he was really excited "post-jail break", he rode in the back of the car really calmly,
Viking is an active puppy, but he'd be a great match for anyone who enjoys hiking/walking. He's really a good walker for only being 7mo! Viking is not overbearing or hyper-active- he would run, but was just as content to walk. He didn't really pull, walked between us most of the time, and enjoyed sniffing everywhere he could stick his nose. His posture showed he was a happy pup ??
At 7mo old, he sat on command for treats (without any coaxing!) and seems VERY eager for approval. From what we witnessed today, we don't think it would take long for him to learn more commands.
Viking is very silly, not at all timid with us, and enjoyed snuggle time and giving puppy kisses.
Viking was great with our 12 and 14yr old girls. He didn't jump on anyone and listened to them just as well as us adults. While we had him out on the trails, we passed numerous bikers and walkers with or without dogs. There was no issues passing either walkers or bikers. This handsome puppy shows great potential and deserves an amazing forever home.
Thank you so much Border Tails Rescue for creating a unique opportunity to get some exercise and spend the day with some very special dogs- This truly is a WIN-WIN for both the dogs and the people that get to know them.
