Rain has come a long way since she arrived. She is still shy, but she is finding it easier and easier to make new friends. While she will still need a lot of patience and TLC, she is fantabulisticous with other dogs! She is so nice with other dogs that we had to make up a word to describe it!
Rain has been boarding with our friends at A Dog's Tale and she'll stay there until she finds the perfect home!
Rain is one of 75 dogs rescued from a commercial breeder (she claimed to also be operating a rescue, so there were other mixed breed dogs folded into the mix).
This girl will need a securely fenced yard, a lot of TLC and patience, and a dog buddy in the home would be great.
Rain had likely never seen or been touched by anyone except this one person. She's never lived in a home, slept on the couch, played with toys or seen a veterinarian. We tell you these things because it is important that you recognize that these situations are all too common, and often go unreported or ignored. It's important that if you see something, you say something. Rescue can only happen when animal abuse or neglect is reported and law enforcement gets involved.
