A local rescuer found these darlings while conducting TNR operations. Originally, the plan was to eventually release them back into the community to carry on with their outdoor lives. However, with hungry coyotes lurking around the area, they hatched up a better plan. Instead, Nikita and Niko moved in with a temporary guardian before landing a gig in Rescue House foster care. There, they thrived and learned how to be awesome feline companions. No longer little 2.5-pound babies, these sweeties have come a long way! Next stop on their journey- their forever homes!

--- Nikita is a funny, independent and enchanting girl! At first, Nikita was quite reserved. Now, she'll happily meet and greet with your visitors. This fluffy hostess loves to show off her unique personality. She adores being petted and will "stop, drop, and roll over" for a nice belly rub! While she tolerates being held, she'd rather be playing with you instead. Our active gal enjoys chasing after stuffed mice and ping pong balls. Her favorite toy is the high-tech laser pointer. It's no wonder that Nikita's favorite subject in foster care was "People are Fun!"
--- Niko is your secret admirer! Not only is he ridiculously handsome, but this classic tabby also comes with a bashful charm. There's no mean bone in this peace-loving and gentle boy. He is usually a bit timid around new people. Once he realizes that they have good intentions, he'll slowly come over, tail in the air, to rub against your body. Give him a nice petting or pat on the back and you got yourself a new BFF! During recess, Niko is all about spring toys, laser pointers, and the cat teaser wand. He loves to show off how high he can jump. After acing the lesson "Trusting Humans," he's started to open up to being held, sitting on laps and paw massages. This cheerful lad will fill the room with his soothing purrs!

Though not required, it would be wonderful if Nikita and Niko could be adopted together. If not possible, they must have a kitty friend in their new abode. Since they have never met any dogs, we do not know how they feel about them. They got along with teenagers. Older, cat-savvy children and teens should be okay.

Looking for a cool kitty to join your family? How about social Nikita? Or sweet Niko? Or how about both?
