Hunter is a 1-year-old pointer mix who is ready for his forever home!
Hunter loves walks, hikes, and could also make a great jogging buddy. Despite his name, he has "successfully" hunted 0 animals! He has a blast running around the yard after every squirrel - or blowing leaf! He's also learning to fetch. He's determined to fit more than one tennis ball in his mouth, but he hasn't mastered it yet! A fenced yard (or a strong commitment to regular walks and outings) would be best for him. Hunter could likely fit well in a variety of home situations: loyal companion, family dog, or joining a family with other dogs. He socializes and loves to play with other dogs. He learns quickly and has never shown resource-guarding tendencies. He is fully house and crate-trained. He knows basic commands such as sit, come, and leave it. Hunter is a medium-energy dog. While he loves activity, he also is happy to curl up with blankets and humans. He is a great work-from-home buddy, going for a walk mid-day and being content to nap or play with his toys while his adult works. He loves chew toys, especially benebones. Hunter will bring you laughs as you enjoy the tail end of his puppy-ness. He folds himself up into the goofiest sleeping positions, tries to sit like a human on a sofa, adorably wrinkles his forehead when he's confused, and is ready to greet you with lots of love every time you walk in the door! You can also watch for stories, pictures, and videos on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!
