Meet Peaches. She is a 7-year-old Pit mix we transferred in from Gary Animal Control. As you can see, Peaches has some health issues that were neglected. She has chronic dry eyes that were left untreated for a while and Peaches will need daily eye drops and eye cleanings for the remainder of her life. Her eyes have made major improvements since her surgery, but she will need a family who keeps up on her care! Peaches also has skin infections and we've been giving her medicated baths to help relieve it along with cutting chicken and beef out of her diet as they seem to be the cause of her allergies. Peaches is an absolute sweetheart and is so loving considering her being failed by people for so long! She seeks out affection from people and loves when she gets her pets in. Scratchies are her favorite! Peaches loves treats and will sit for them. She is already house-trained and is so eager to please her people . Peaches can be a bit strong on the leash, but she is manageable! She has a hard time seeing, so we recommend a home with no stairs and preferably a fenced in backyard! This sweet girl needs a caring home that will show her nothing but love for the remainder of her life! Are you a good fit for Peaches?
