Jade was adopted as a little puppy and was surprised to find herself back at CAP. She got too big for the children in the home because she loves to jump up. She's a high-energy girl who already weighs 52 pounds and she's probably not through growing. She enjoys running, tugging, toys, and walks but is very nervous while walking at the shelter. She wants to lead and may not want to go where you go. She'll need encouragement. If she runs off while off leash, she'll probably come back if you call her. She knows the sit command. She is still working on house training so please be patient with her. She is playful with dogs and kids as young as six. Because of her size and activity level, she'll need to live with kids at least eight years old. She enjoys barking at dogs she meets during walks and is learning how to behave at the dog park.
