Hi hoomans! I am 1.5yrs old hound mix and I am quickly becoming top dawg here at the shelter. They call me Astraea, or Miss. Astraea to some. When I come out of my kennel, the peoples make all these silly sounds and come prancing over to me. They give me the pets and the lips on the cheeks and call me pretty. You should see the other dogs looking at me! I know they are jealous and I think it's funny!
This one day I came out of my kennel and the peoples said I had work to do. I was so upsited my tail wagged so hard I though I was going to fly, but I had to do a sits my people said. I didn't fly away so they must know exactly what to do when tail gets out of control.
First thing I got to do was eat yummy foods and hoomans played with my food which was weird. They kept saying good so I think I did okay with their silly food test. The next thing I had to do was meet a fluffy razer paws. My tail took my whole bum with it this time and I wiggled so fast to meet the kitty I got my snoot booped. I told kitty I was sorry and she forgave me. We is the friends now.
I got to meet a doggo friend too and we almost fell in love. I thought things were going really well until he puffed up at me and I thought that was really rude so I crossed him off my friends list. I used pencil though because I will forgive him.
Before I go, I like to lay like a frog, play with squeak toys, jump in your lap for snuggles and do couch cuddles. If I can't do any of these things when I move out, I ain't a goin'.
