Meet Katie! She is a 1-year-old Terrier mix we have available for adoption! Katie was surrendered to us at the beginning of the year. She was adopted as a young pup and unfortunately received very little training. We decided it was best to have her go to a trainer for a few weeks to help her succeed in her future forever home. She made progress and knows some commands and has basic structure but is very bored being in a shelter. Katie has a lot of energy and doesn't have much opportunity to get it out here. She has learned great manners on the leash, so taking her for walks is a breeze! Overall, Katie is just a spunky, young dog. Katie is good with other dogs, but dogs can be selective with her. She has a forward playstyle that some dogs are not a fan of. We think she could potentially go home with another dog as long as it is a good fit! This girl needs a family that's willing to help her work toward being the best dog she can be! Come meet Katie!
