Say hello to beautiful Opal!
This sweet girl is around 8 years old. She's a rescued puppy mill mama Bichon. Like so very many of these so-called breeder releases (i.e. no longer producing sellable puppies so no longer of any value to the business operators) she is timid and unsure of life outside of a locked box. So far, in my home, she has proven to be animal friendly (dogs and cats) and accepting of love - though loving hands make her very nervous still. She watches my every move with curiosity and will lay herself down in the same room as the rest of us - she does not hide. When she doesn't think I'm looking, she rolls in the grass as if she's never felt anything so luxurious- and it's doubtful she ever has. She must have a fenced-in yard at her new home as a leash isn't an option for this sweetheart. She is going to need time and lots of patient, unconditional love and support to transition into a new life. I think this lovely lady will just blossom in a loving home! Adoption fee: $425 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application.
