A veterinary technician rescued this fine fellow from the streets of East Oceanside. Although she immediately fell in love with him, her living accommodations (a small home with three cats and three dogs) did not really suit him. Beau isn't interested in feline friends or joining a clowder, so asking him to move in with her was not really an option. Luckily, her aunt happens to be a Rescue House volunteer and offered to provide Beau with a loving foster home where he could wait for his forever family. Beau has thrived in his temporary mom's care, adoring and being adored by every human he meets. While he has had a blast with her, he is really interested in a more permanent living arrangement, and he heard that your house could be exactly the place to hang up his wand toys!

If Jackson Galaxy were to evaluate Beau, he would describe Beau as a cat with incredibly high "Cat Mojo." This tabby stunner is confident and friendly, happily owning the space he inhabits. Eager to get to know anyone he encounters, he is quick to introduce himself and will love to mingle with guests to your abode. (His purrfect personality makes him a killer host and a huge hit with the ladies, so if you like to entertain or are looking for a wingman, Beau is the guy for you!) Totally at ease in his environment and in touch with his natural instincts, this gregarious gent is also athletic and playful. With impressive agility, he will leap and twirl through the air in pursuit of his feather wands-Da Bird is his favorite-even performing on demand for spectators! After he captures his fluffy prize, he'll bring it back to you and lay it at your feet-purring with satisfaction. Following his acrobatic routine, Beau will look forward to recharging by canoodling with you. He lives for pets and snuggles, fancying himself a master cuddler. (He can't wait to climb on your lap and show off his skills!) Due to his time on the street, he is extremely interested in food and a passionate diner. Although he adores all manner and type of cuisine, Churu treats are his absolute fave. If you are the one to feed him, you will be rewarded with gazing adoration with complete love radiating from his stunning green eyes!

While healthy, Beau has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat's immune system. It is a cat-only virus and cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats. FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives in quality, duration, and happiness. If a cat has previously been vaccinated for FIV, the kitty will test positive even if the virus is not present. A good website is FIVCats.com, and an informative article about FIV can be found at https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus.

Not a cat-friendly feline, Beau needs to be the only kitty in his new home. Beau did not interact with the dogs at his rescuer's house; however, given his personality, we think he might be okay with a respectful canine after a proper introduction. As he can become overstimulated at times and get a little mouthy, older children with cat experience probably would be best for Beau. Of course, he does wonderfully with adults.

Beau will capture your heart! Could you be the one to provide the loving forever home this amazing cat deserves?
