VIOLET is a beautiful 2 yr. old Texas Blue Lacy (or perhaps Weimaraner) mix. She is leggy, athletic, and loves romping-n-playing with her pals. She came in very thin but is gaining weight and thriving - she gets a lot of loving support from our staff and volunteers and her besties Charlene & Vivi. Violet would be an excellent companion for an active single person/couple seeking a canine best friend to share in their activities. Or she could join a home with another playful, friendly dog (or two or three) and a family with older kiddos. She is just a great dog with a wonderful personality...and she's beautiful too!
Violet is even more lovely in person - come by and see for yourself. Our visiting hours are Mon, Wed-Fri 10am-3:30pm and Tues 1:30pm-3:30pm, or you may call our front desk at 228-466-4516 to schedule an appointment. Please bring your kiddos and dog (s) along for the visit to ensure compatibility.
*Violet's adoption fee is $75, which includes deworming, spaying, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test, and a free vet check with one of our participating veterinarians. An approved adoption application always applies!
