Bear was wandering a neighborhood for a bit and some residents were able to catch him. They instantly fell in love with him and had him fully vetted to include neutering! He was well cared for but unfortunately nobody could keep him. At the moment he is very wary of people, will give a little bark but will approach for treats and even take them out of your hand. He seems to love other dogs he has met at the sanctuary. He is very fearful of being leashed and shuts down when one is put on him. He would need a quiet, securely fenced back yard to walk in until he gains confidence with leash walking. Bear is going to be a "project pup" but hopefully in time he will become comfortable with people and can become a cherished family member.
